Wim Hof Method Fundamentals Workshop

Experience the benefits of breathwork and cold exposure
in a safe, calm and fun workshop.

The popularity of breathwork for improved mental health, reduced stress, increased physical performance and more is more than just 'talk' - it's the real deal. Now is your chance to experience it - and learn how to apply it to your daily life - in a safe, calm, relaxed environment, with a qualified and patient Wim Hof Method instructor.

Program:

Introduction to Wim Hof Method
Stretching and meditation
Theory: Breath, cold, commitment.
Breathwork exercises as a group
Ice bath

Light snacks and drinks will be provided. We suggest eating a LIGHT breakfast before the workshop. No experience necessary. Places are limited.

Saturday 30th March, 2024. 8.30am-12.30pm.

Location: Exhale Yamba, 35 Coldstream St, Yamba NSW 2464

1 minute drive from the center of Yamba.

  • Theory

    Why breathwork? What happens in the body? Why has it become an important tool in so many peoples' toolkit, worldwide?

  • Breathing

    Harness the power of breathwork in a supportive group. Undertake breathing exercises in a calm environment, and learn how to apply it as a daily practice (if you so choose).

  • Ice Bath

    Experience the rush (and challenge!) of an ice bath on-site, and how the cold can help with mood-boosting, muscle recovery and more.

Hi! I'm Tristan. I've been practicing for 3 years, and loved it so much that I became a certified Wim Hof Method instructor to share it with others. I live at Phillip Island. I look forward to introducing you to the power of the breath.. and the cold!

FAQs

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes you can sit and lie down in. Think similar to a yoga class.

What should I bring?

  • Yoga mat
  • Bathers
  • Towel
  • Notepad and pen
  • Drink bottle
  • Positive attitude and willingness to try new things

What if I have a medical condition?

Please contact Tristan to chat about it. In general, we suggest erring on the side of caution. If you have a severe medical condition such as heart complications, epilepsy or similar, we suggest not participating in the workshop.

We also don't recommend joining if you're pregnant (although cold showers are fine!).

Do I need experience?

Nope. We welcome absolute beginners, as well as those who've tried breathwork and cold exposure in the past.

What should I do to prepare?

If you like, you can take a cold shower for 1-2 minutes for the week prior, to help your body acclimatise to the cold.

Prior to the workshop, we'll email you a short survey to gather information for safety and medical reasons.

Other than that, nothing - you just turn up, learn, and have fun!

Awesome day and fantastic instructor!

Tristan was a great facilitator - kind, articulate and calm. The science behind the breath work and cold exposure is super interesting, and it was so powerful to experience it with the others in the group. The venue was very calming and spacious, the snacks were perfect and most importantly I learned a lot that I can take home and practically apply day-to-day. Loved it!

Breathe well

I found the corse fantastic. There’s only so much you can learn from you tube. Tristan was a great instructor and very encouraging. I will be encouraging friends and family to do this course

Fantastic experience, highly recommend.

I was skeptical when a friend recommended that I try out breath work and reluctantly decided to give it a go., and I am so glad I did. After suffering PTSD for many years., I was keen to find a way outside medication to assist with the constant state of stress that my body and mind are in. Tristan’s session was amazing. The breath work experience took me to a state that I have never reached before and a sense of calmness I find hard to achieve..The cold therapy that followed was also a fantastic experience. I am adopting the teachings into my weekly schedule and having some form of cold therapy daily. The science behind the Wim Hof method was so interesting and it was great to learn the science behind it all. I highly recommend this session to anyone from all walks of life
